Terms and conditions for bookings are below.

PARTY RESERVATIONS
An email address must be provided upon making a booking, as this link will be provided on booking confirmation emails.
All card details are held, and any deposit or cancellation fees will be processed by, Stripe Payments. For full details of their policy please visit: – https://stripe.com/gb/privacy

PARTY DEPOSITS
Groups of 10 or more will be required to pay a deposit of £10 per person. Large bookings of 10 or more are deemed provisional until a deposit has been paid. This deposit will be deducted from the final bill amount. We are proud to be year-round providers of employment for our team here at the Cott Inn and this policy is in place for this reason only.

Should you cancel a confirmed booking on the day, we reserve the right to keep the deposit and may charge fully for the chosen menu based on the number of guests if a pre-order has been requested. Charges apply to both lunch and dinner reservations. Please note – tables can only be held for a maximum of 15 minutes, after which they may be allocated to another customer, should no contact be made to notify us that you are running late.

Please note that a fixed 10% gratuity will be added to tables of 10 or more.

CELEBRATION CAKES
Please be aware that the Cott Inn is no longer able to refrigerate, store or deliver celebration cakes of any kind to the table, due to the potential risk of dish cross-contamination and to reduce the risk of allergenic cross-contamination. Please contact us in advance if you wish to provide your own celebration cake for consumption within the Cott Inn. We will do our best to accommodate your requests, although this cannot be guaranteed. If we do allow a celebration cake to be brought onsite, the Cott Inn accepts no responsibility or liability for its contents, safety or allergen content.

CHRISTMAS PARTY BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
Your Christmas booking will be confirmed once we receive your confirmation and security deposit payment of £10pp for parties.
Your deposit payment will be deducted from your final bill.
Please supply full menu choices via our online pre-ordering systems 7 days in advance and also advise us (using the free text fields on the online form) if your guests have any special dietary requirements.
Menus can’t be mixed, parties of 6+ can order either from our festive fixed priced menu or from our individually priced core menu.
We do add a discretionary service charge of 10% to all parties of 10+

HOTEL RESERVATIONS AND DEPOSITS
The Cott is a family-run business and we understand that even the best-laid plans get derailed at short notice. We wish to work with our customers at all times to mitigate the impact of cancellations. At the same time, we have to remain viable as a business. We will always ask for a deposit in the amount of one night’s stay to secure a room, the balance being payable upon departure. Check In is from 1500 on the day of arrival, with Checkout being no later than 1100 on the day of departure.

PETS
Pets are welcome everywhere at the Cott. A daily surcharge of £10 per pet will be applied to your reservation.

CANCELLATIONS
Our room cancellation policy is as follows:-
Up to 30 days before the reservation date – deposit refunded in full.
Up to 7 days before the reservation date – 50% deposit refunded (but see also below)
Less than 7 days – we will refund your deposit PROVIDED we can re-sell the room. Should we be unable to do this, then we reserve the right to retain the full value of the deposit.
You are therefore advised to take out travel insurance for all reservations, to mitigate the impact of unforeseen cancellations.
