We’re passionate about welcoming and accommodating all guests. However, due to the character and age of our 700-year-old building, there are some limitations to what we’re able to offer. Parts of the building can be challenging for guests with limited mobility.
The information below is designed to ensure you feel fully informed before visiting us or deciding to book a stay in our rooms.
Please watch this video for a full accessibility tour:

ACCESS TO THE PUB AND RESTAURANT AREAS
The pub can be accessed via our wheelchair ramp. There is a small lip into the doorway of the pub but otherwise it is step free.
Wherever possible, we will always do our best to seat and accommodate guests in the most suitable areas of the pub.
Please note the ladies toilet does have a small step to access from inside the pub, however it could be reached from an outside door with prior arrangement.
ACCESS TO OUR BEDROOMS
All of our bedrooms are upstairs, and are accessed via a narrow spiral staircase. It is vital for your safety that you can comfortably and safely climb and descend these staircases. Not only in normal circumstances but in the case you may need to exit the building in an emergency.
If you are unable to comfortably climb these stairs unaided, we sadly won’t be able to accommodate an overnight stay safely.
